Create a cycling route and download GPX
Plan a round trip or an A-to-B ride, compare the alternatives and download the route without an account. GPX lets you take the same track to a cycling app or bike computer.
Create my GPX route1. Plan the ride
Open the planner, choose a starting point and select a round trip with a target distance or an A-to-B route. Choose road, gravel, e-bike or recreational riding. Terrain and surface settings are preferences, not guarantees.
2. Compare and export
Generate the alternatives, inspect the map and choose a route. Open the export panel and select GPX. The file preserves the route line; TCX can also carry course information on compatible devices. KML and GeoJSON are available for other map tools.
3. Open it on your device
Import the downloaded GPX as a course in Garmin Connect, or open it with the Wahoo app, then sync your bike computer. Other apps need GPX import support. BikeRouteNow exports files; it does not connect to your Garmin or Wahoo account.
Garmin Connect · Wahoo — ACE, BOLT 3, ROAM 3 · Wahoo — ELEMNT
4. Check before leaving
Check the imported track, distance, surface and available elevation. Your device may recalculate routes or handle turn instructions differently. Download maps for offline use in your navigation app. A shared BikeRouteNow link lasts 90 days and shows the start and finish to anyone with the link.
